I was listening to NPR’s All Things Considered last night, specifically a segment regarding a movie coming out that is narrated by a 6 year old girl. In a conversation with the director, the young actress once said to him:
“When you are small, you gotta fix what you can.”
I admire her perspective and how her obvious lack of physical stature brings with it the realization that she has limited powers in this world, but that she still has a responsibility to improve that world nonetheless.
Imagine if every adult were reminded (and remained aware) of how small they truly are, but still had the open mind of a 6-year-old…
How wonderful a world might it be?
